The human body is a marvelous machine that knows exactly what is good for it and what is not. Like any other disease or malfunction pimples are a manifestation of internal disharmony that requires your attention. Therefore pimples are an indicator of an issue inside your body. You must understand that avoiding pimples requires you to figure out what your body is telling you.
What your body is telling you is that eating junk food and drinking carbonated sugared drinks is causing internal disharmony. We humans are not evolved to take in massive amounts of sugar and carbohydrates via fast foods. The human body is incapable of processing the huge amounts of junk which we are constantly putting into it. When we ingest sugared drinks, our liver must counteract the spike in sugar levels in the bloodstream. It does this by producing insulin. This insulin release sets off a large chain of events which ultimately releases hormones. These hormones trigger the skin to start producing excess oil. This oily skin is the reason we get pimples. Advertisers love to talk about how their product will get rid of the oil and make your skin soft and smooth. Well, the truth is that the skin creates oil to keep itself moist. As I mentioned earlier, the human body is a marvelous machine. Your skin already knows what it must do to keep itself supple and clean. It does not need lotions and creams to regulate oil production.
You can avoid pimples by eating nutritious and healthy food. Introduce lean meat and vegetables in your diet. You must also avoid all sugared drinks. These drinks usually contain High Fructose Corn Syrup which disrupts your internal processes severely. Intake of chocolate and other sweets must also be minimized. Addressing your diet is the most critical thing you can do if you want clear and pimple free skin. Introducing supplements for acne such as cod liver oil and zinc has also been shown to help. The fact remains that pimples are caused by your body not effectively processing sugary foods. Therefore, it is imperative that you follow a strict diet which includes whole foods instead of processed foods. This will allow your liver to regulate the sugar levels in your bloodstream effectively. If you follow this advice, you will definitely be on your way to pimple free skin.
