Nokia Never Give Up

Unyielding, unbending, suborned, all these words are used by writers for Nokia now. These words are sort of gloomy, for writers have a cautious optimism attitude to the future of Nokia. But this does not preclude Nokia counter-attack according to their own pace.

On January 9, 2007, when Steve Jobs released iPhone, Nokia proudly claimed that it's the best time in history and this kind of iPod Phone with music function will not affect us. In fact, the strong market performance makes Nokia has enough reason to say this. Nokia first reached 40% in the global market in the fourth quarter of 2007, annual operation profit increased 46%, reach 8 billion euros. Everybody exclaimed Nokia is becoming a big MAC in mobile market.

iPhone is becoming more and more popular, and constantly update. Now, it has update to the fourth generation. The rising of consumer' buying spree proved that. However, because it's Apple, it's iPhone, it cannot fully bomb from low-end, mid-end and high-end. It also cannot play the price war, for the only opponent is itself. It has some disadvantages, such as unable to replace the battery, expensive price. But this is iPhone, this is Steve Jobs, who competes in the arena of his own according to his own rules. iPhone is able to slowly absorbed a small part of the Nokia's users, but iPhone cannot defeat Nokia.

However, Google Android appeared, which with free and open attitude quickly captured a large number of cell phone manufacturers, even SONY Ericsson, always conservative, said they will join the Android. Google isn't Nokia, it does not need to sell mobile phone to earn money, it has no direct competition relationship with mobile phone manufacturers, so it can rapidly complement with manufacturers to meet the needs of users. Soon, the high, middle and low end Android emerge endlessly, even the fake mobile phones are unwilling to lag behind and want to join in, so Android plump up at an unprecedented pace. Although it has disadvantages compared with iPhone, it has a big advantage compared with Nokia which choose to change mobile phone shells. Then smartphone seems to become a stylish word. Do the smartphone popularize Android or the Android popularize the smartphone? No one can tell.

The market is consumer interest's directing sign, consumers voting with their feet quickly make Nokia feel the cold winter before it really comes. According to the second quarter of 2010 world smartphone market survey, recently released by the American market research institutions Canalys, the sales volume of Android smartphone of the second quarter year-on-year increase 86% of the market share increase from 2.8 % to 17.1%, it's really strong. Compare with Android, the market share of Nokia Symbian decline from last year's 42 % to 38.1%.

Some analyzed agency point out: In the next few years, Android will take full beyond Nokia and rule the whole smartphone market. Although iPhone is strong, it has little threat to Nokia. But as for Android, the story is different. Those mobile phone manufacturers are suppressed by Nokia Symbian mercilessly for many years, now, they catch the opportunity to join the Android, of course, they will spare their efforts to absorb the users of Nokia. Recently, there is a rumor that Google once actively get close to Nokia, hoping that Nokia can join Android, but certainly Nokia isn't so easy to be persuaded.

First, If join the Android, it makes Google get off cheap and it means give the share of smartmobile operating system to the others as gift. While in return stand at the same level with Samsung, HTC, Motorola. Nokia certainly don't want to do this kind of thing which does harm to themselves while benefit others. Although their Symbian3 still not very delicate, when be further processed, it also can be used, for it's their product.

Second, until now, Nokia is still a brand in smartphone market with the highest market share, and it still has the reason to pride. Once Nokia is the favored one in smartphone market, now are forced to use others' operating system. On the one hand, they cannot stand this in psychological. On the other hand, it's a blow for the Nokia Company. If they agree, this means they admit that Nokia is not the Nokia when it's so popular.

Of course, Nokia still has chance. Recently, it changes their CEO, this shows the company's determination to innovate. But Nokia has a hard life to face Android group's siege, the iPhone's stand aside, and those close comrade-in-arms, such as Samsung, SONY, their departure one by one.

Addressing and Preventing Acne With a Three-Step System From Dr Obagi

Biological Process During an Acne Outbreak
Acne is caused when oil and dead skin cells clog pores and hair follicles. The blockage allows normal skin bacteria to grow and build up rather than be flushed out as it normally would in an unblocked pore. The resulting bacterial infection causes the familiar redness, bump, whitehead and eventual eruption of the typical acne pimple.
Known Causes for Acne Outbreaks
There are only a few known causes of acne. One is an increase in skin oil production caused by excess hormones generated during male and female puberty. And genetics also plays a role in the presence and severity of acne in individuals.
Theories on Acne Causes
There are theories and anecdotal claims that stress as well as certain foods such as chocolate, pizza, French fries and other food generally considered greasy and unhealthy are also factors in acne breakouts but there is little actual scientific proof to these claims.
The process of how acne forms under the skin is much better understood than the causes that trigger that process to begin in the first place. Regardless of the process and underlying causes, acne suffers, especially teenagers, are driven to seek relief and prevention from visible acne symptoms.
The Obagi Approach to Acne Treatment
Dermatologist Dr. Zein Obagi developed a series of skin care products and procedures that have become well known for their systematic approach to addressing serious skin problems such as uneven skin tone, blemishes, acne outbreaks and acne scarring.
The Obagi system to treat and prevent acne is the Obagi CLENZIderm M.D. System. The Clenziderm System is for use on face, back, arms and neck. It is dispensed in one of two product combinations depending on whether the user's skin tends to be more oily or dry.
Clenziderm's Patented Active Ingredient
The common product in the Clenziderm systems for both oil-prone and dry skin users is the Therapeutic Lotion which contains a 5% solution of benzoyl peroxide. Although benzoyl peroxide is a common compound for treating acne, the Obagi Clenzider Therapeutic Lotion contains a patented solubilized form that is designed to penetrate deeply into the skin to reach and treat the site of the bacteria-filled pore.
Clenziderm Products for Oily to Normal Skin
Those prone to more oil on the skin go through two cleaning steps before the three Clenziderm products used to treat normal-to-oily skin are:
Daily Care Foaming CleanserPore TherapyTherapeutic Lotion (active ingredient 5% benzoyl peroxide)
The Daily Care Foaming Cleanser uses salicylic acid to remove dirt and makeup and contains menthol to soothe the skin. Instructions are to wash, rinse and pat dry. Then the user should wait 15 minutes to let the skin air dry before moving on to the next step, applying Pore Therapy.
The PoreThreapy product is the next Clenziderm step for users with oily skin. Like the Daily Care Foaming Cleanser, Pore Theraly is another cleaning step and also contains salicylic acid to clear away dead skin. However, the Pore Therapy solution is left on the body and allowed to dry.
The final step or normal to oily skin users is the Therapeutic Lotion with the patented 5% solubilized benzoyl peroxide solution. This is applied to the affected area and allowed to be absorbed completely into the skin.
If users experience stinging or general discomfort they can reduce the amount used initially until their skin gets used to the product being applied.
Clenziderm Products for Dry to Normal Skin
The Clenziderm product combination for people with normal to dry skin is:
Daily Care Cream CleanserTherapeutic Lotion (active ingredient 5% benzoyl peroxide)Therapeutic Moisturizer
The first product and step for users with normal to dry skin is the Daily Care Cream Cleanser. It is a cleanser for dirt and oil from the skin. It has allantoin and botanic extracts to make it gentler and less drying than ordinary soap. User are to wash and pat dry area then wait 15 minutes to become completely dry.
The second step for normal to dry skin types is the Clenziderm Therapeutic Lotion with solubilized benzoyl peroxide. In the procedure for oily skin types this product is used last, but it is the middle step for people with dry skin so that it can be followed by a moisturizing step. It is applied as described above, the same as it is for more oil-prone skin type users.
The final product and step for dry skin types is to apply the Therapeutic Moisturizer. It is intended to sooth and protect skin with ingredients including dimethicone and glycerin.
Anticipated Results
Clenziderm users from both skin type groups are instructed to use the products twice daily, morning and evening. Results are expected to be visible within two week and improvements can continue up to four weeks after first use. The product must be used continuously to retain the benefits unless external factors that cause acne are no longer present.

Not Many People Know What Causes Acne

Today we are going to talk about a very interesting topic: "What causes acne?" There are many theories floating around the web, so I've decided to spare you some time and summarize everything you need to know.
What is acne? Well, it is a very nasty - and sometimes painful - skin disease. In most cases, it is not dangerous, but when incorrectly treated can leave scars. Because our skin pores are connected to glands, it allows sebum - an oily secretion that carries dead skin - to block our follicles and therefore causing pimples to appear.
What causes acne? Well, that is the "one million dollar" question, isn't it? Dermatologists aren't complete sure about it either, but they have made some valid theories that I'm going to discuss today. Keep in mind though, that there are multiple variables that need to be kept in mind when trying to determine what causes this skin disease.
Dietary Problems
One of the most common causes of acne is eating unhealthy foods. Don't fall into this false misconception that foods do not influence the skin, because as studies have shown, the unhealthier you eat, the more likely you will suffer from acne.
What shouldn't you eat? Well, staying away from processed foods would be a good start, because the chemicals can cause hormonal imbalances in your body, which on its hand can leave its mark on the skin.
Stress
I'm not kidding. As recent studies have shown, there is a direct correlation between stress and acne breakouts. The more stressed you are, the more hormones your glands produce; and as it does that, we start to see pimples on our bodies.
So as you can see, it is important to be able to relax. Although, in the 21st century - where the economy is as bad as ever - this could turn out to be one heck of a challenge.
Hormonal Causes
I've already touched on this. If your body experiences an imbalance in hormonal levels it can lead to acne. When sebaceous glands start to produce a great amount of sebum, dead skin cells block pores on your epidermis. This leads to intense development of acne bacteria and that's when the inflammatory process begins.
Not Enough Vitamins In Your Body
I'm sure your parents have already told you this, but if your body lacks vitamins, it becomes very vulnerable to many diseases. The reason is simple: vitamins eliminate toxins and wastes from your body, and if this doesn't happen you increase the chances of the development of acne bacteria.

Acne Breakouts - Foods That Cause Acne Breakouts

Introduction

Are you a teenager and being told your acne is a result of your food choices? You are told that an acne diet consists of chocolate, sweets and greasy foods. You should ask for the proof before you swallow that nonsense.

The truth is, none of these foods will cause you to develop acne.

So what foods will cause you acne?

Foods That Cause Acne

Let us be clear at the start, it has not been found that any foods can directly cause you to develop acne. But there are some foods that can affect your hormone levels that will result in acne.

This hormone imbalance causes the body to secret more sebum (oil) through the pores in the skin. This oil will cause your dead skin to clump together clogging your pores resulting in acne.

So what foods can cause you to develop a hormonal imbalance?

Dairy Products - In several studies performed in the early twenty-first century, it was found that people, who drank several glasses of milk per day, had a higher instance of acne than those who drank no milk at all. It was found that consumption of 2 or more glasses of milk per day significantly increased the likely hood of developing acne during your puberty years.

Researchers believe that the hormones found in milk will stimulate your insulin. This stimulation will increase the production of the hormone testosterone and decrease the production of sex hormone-binding globulin, causing a hormone imbalance, resulting in acne.

Low-glycemic-index Foods - A couple of studies performed on cultures that ate a diet with a low-glycemic-index, were found to have little or no acne. An additional study on a controlled group showed a decrease in acne occurrences for the group that ate a diet with a low-glycemic-index.

So what is a diet rich in low-glycemic-index foods? This diet consists of lots of green leafy vegetables, vegetables, unsaturated fats, cold-water fish and fruits, in other words, a diet with foods in their natural state.

Those foods that are considered to have a high-glycemic-index are found in processed foods, lunchmeats, saturated fats and other foods that are refined from their natural state.

What researchers have found is that if your diet consists mainly of high-glycemic-index foods, your hormones become unbalanced creating acne. Plus this diet creates more inflammation in your body that may cause the immune system to overreact and attack healthy tissue. This means that if you develop acne, your immune system will over respond and make your acne appear worse than it really should be.

A diet with a low-glycemic-index helps keep your hormones at a normal level plus you have much less inflammation.

How to Shave and Deal With Acne

Acne is the bane of many, if not all, teenage men. Most everyone has dealt with acne in their lives. Some adults still have to deal with occasional breakouts due to stress or other environmental concerns. This article will show you how to shave with acne.

Acne is caused by the blockage of hair follicles. A waxy plug interrupts the oils from leaving the follicle's pore. To stop acne, one must stop the blockage from occurring and interrupting the flow of oil. This is why all acne sources recommend exfoliation. Exfoliation is the removal of a layer of dead skin cells.

Our faces are made up of dead skin cells on top of a layer of live skin cells. The live cells produce the oil, hair, and surface skin. Hair and surface skin consists of dead cells, which is why we don't feel anything when our hair is cut. These dead skin cells can clog pores with the help of oil and dirt. This is why exfoliation is so very important.

Shaving is quite possibly the oldest form of exfoliation known to mankind. What the makers of exfoliation scrubs and peels don't want you to know is that a sharp blade scraped over your skin exfoliates extremely effectively. Better if the blade is truly honed. Don't believe me? Take a sharp knife and shave off a small patch of hair on your arm or leg. All of that other stuff that came off is dead skin cells.

So, shaving is clearly beneficial to our faces. Even women can possibly benefit. Although most would probably prefer to just use an exfoliating scrub. Yet, for us men, we get to shave. Before you go out and buy another Mach X 10 bladed razor, read on. Modern day multi-blade razors are the worst for your skin. First of all, they aren't sharp. Secondly, they are designed to keep the razor away from your face to "help eliminate nicks and cuts." So, not only do they perform poorly, but they don't even exfoliate well. Have you ever stopped to ask why 4 blades are better than 1? And then stopped to ask why you still have to do a minimum of two passes to get baby's butt smooth? No? You should.

A few acne sources recommend an electric razor. Others recommend staying away from electric razors. I personally am in the stay away from them camp. They don't really do anything for you and are more likely to spread bacteria and irritate your face. They don't even cut that close anyway. A viable alternative is a beard trimmer which will cut your beard to an even stubble. You won't be fresh shaven, but you'll look decent.

Acne sources also recommend single bladed disposable razors. Some sources don't even recommend any particular type of razor. That said, these sources are clearly unfamiliar with the shaving instruments our forefathers used. Double edge and straight razors are vastly superior to anything the current market produces. Yes, they are still being produced for a handful of stalwart adherents.

Both the double edge and the straight razor have the advantage of being both sanitary and sharp. They both require at least two passes to achieve super smooth cheeks, and a straight razor does require some learning on your part. However, the benefits vastly outweigh the costs. These blades are much better for people with acne.

How To Get Rid Of Acne Without Antibiotics

Anyone that has ever suffered from acne will know what a devastating effect it has on confidence and self esteem. It seems like a catch twentytwo situation, acne triggers feelings of anxiety and depression which in turn makes the acne a lot worse.

According to Ayurvedic and Chinese herbal medicine, acne is the result of too much heat and toxins in the body, or more specifically in the blood. The Chinese term for this is Yang, and in Ayurveda it known as Pitta. Excess heat in the system can be caused by a number of different things including stress, high hormone levels and even the consumption of certain foods. Acne signals an imbalance inside the body which needs to be treated internally to be truly effective.

The good news is that it is totally possible to treat most mild to moderate acne naturally and holistically, but it does take a degree of dedication and perseverance. Treating acne with natural therapies is not only effective, but it has no, or very minimal side effects unlike allopathic treatments. Natural acne treatments are gentle, effective and more importantly treat the underlying causes of acne instead of just treating the symptoms.

These are some tried and tested techniques to control and treat acne naturally.

*Neem is by far the best natural acne remedy I know of. A natural antibiotic that can effectively kill the bacteria responsible for causing acne, but to be truly effective it should be taken internally and also applied topically. A simple acne face mask can be made by mixing equal quantities of fullers earth and Neem powder with a little water and applied to cleansed skin.

*Regular internal cleansing treatments are a very useful tool in the control of acne. Helpful herbs for acne include Dandelion Burdock and Sarsaparilla. The easiest method of taking cleansing herbs is in tea form. Most supermarkets and health food stores sell cleansing herbal teas that are effective, and affordable.

*Reducing stress and finding ways to cope with stressful situations is also important. While stress may not directly cause acne, it definitely makes it worse. Deep breathing exercises can help acne in two ways, firstly by calming stress and inducing relaxation, and secondly by increasing oxygen levels in the blood which in turn detoxifies and cleanses the body by filtering impurities.

* foods that put a burden on the body should be avoided or at least reduced. The main culprits include caffeinated drinks, chocolate, alcohol and all processed/fatty foods.' You are what you eat' is a very true statement, if you are prone to acne, diet will make a positive or negative difference to your skin depending on your dietary habits.

* Most makeup and cosmetics contain large quantities of synthetic ingredients that can aggravate acne. The use of heavy foundations and moisturisers based on mineral oils can block the pores which can lead to breakouts and irritation.

* Plenty of pure, filtered water, is an excellent cleanser and detoxifier that flushes impurities from the body. Mixing a few drops of fresh lemon juice to fresh water increases its cleansing properties considerably.

Avoid Pimples by Eliminating One Thing!

We have been led to believe by marketers and peddlers of products that our bodies are dumb. You need to be eating cereals with additives and fiber because our body is deficient in these things. You need to take supplements for acne, vitamins for acne and antibiotics for acne because otherwise your body will be unable to avoid pimples. They tell us you need to use face washes and creams and other chemicals to keep your skin clear because somehow your skin does not how to keep itself clear. I mean come on! Our nervous system increases our heart rate and takes in increased amount of oxygen when it senses you need to run or do some other physical activity. Our bodies are prefect and in sync machines that know what needs to be done; pure and simple. So why do I have bad skin and acne you may be wondering. If the body is perfectly capable of fixing itself and is so smart then why do I have acne?

You have acne because your body is signaling a problem which needs attention. It is a warning that something wrong is going on inside your body and it needs help. Just like thirst is a symptom of dehydration, acne is a symptom of something that needs to be addressed. You don't treat thirst by eating medication! You treat thirst by drinking water. So why take supplements for acne? Why take vitamins for acne? Why take antibiotics for acne?

Acne is caused by oily skin which is caused by your hormones being out of sync. This is happening because you are putting junk food in your body. You need to stop that. Our bodies are perfect machines but they need good fuel. You fueling up on hamburgers, fries and sugared drinks is not the way to go. To fix acne and avoid pimples requires a lifestyle change. The media bombards us with ads about face washes and creams that are supposed to make our skin soft and get rid of oily skin. Well the fact of the matter is that oily skin can only be treated by addressing the cause of oily skin. Our bodies are creating excess oil as a warning that the food we are eating is causing a disruption in the oil production cycle.

There are many foods that we eat on a regular basis that are complete garbage. Cereal is a great example of a food which does more harm than good. If you don't believe me, take out your favorite cereal and look at the ingredients listed on the box. You will see a bunch of chemicals which are man-made. Take high fructose corn syrup for example. HFCS is a sweetener used instead of sugar since it is cheaper to produce. This sweetener overloads our liver and results in the creation of excessive insulin in the bloodstream. This causes our hormones to be out of sync which results in excessive oil generation. Believe me, if you only got rid of HFCS in your diet, you would see massive improvement in your acne. Try it; you have so little to lose and so much to gain!

I suffered for a decade with acne until I was able to cure myself by researching and experimenting. I realized the tremendous impact our diet has on acne and how we can get rid of acne by finding out the foods which cause acne and eliminating them from our diet. Cure Acne Now, or Suffer the Consequences Later

Stop Shooting the Messenger

When you resort to attacking the messenger and not the message, you have lost the debate.
- Addison Whithecomb

Here's the thing: acne may well be the most important thing that ever happened to you.

Acne is not your enemy; it's a messenger, carrying critical news about your health. You've got to listen.

If you hadn't had acne, you wouldn't be here now, reading this. You have acne because your body's trying to say, "Listen to me, dangit! You're hurting me! You're doing something wrong, and I'm suffering, and acne is the best way I know how to tell you that!" If you cover up those signals with makeup or harsh medicines, you're stifling your body's cries for change.

Think about that for a moment. What are you doing now to cover up these helpful signals?

I say that having acne may be the best thing that ever happened to you, because you're learning something that people with perfect skin may never learn: how to listen to your body, and give it what it needs for ultimate health.

Acne is the first step in a long string of diseases. Fortunately for you, you probably got acne first - you may not have diabetes, cancer, arthritis, heart disease, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's yet. But the truth of it is, the causes of these life-threatening disease are some of the exact same causes of acne.

Inflammation, insulin resistance, glycation. These things cause acne, and they cause much more serious diseases down the road.

Acne is your first warning.

If you don't listen to this warning, and instead you try acne medicines, pills, makeup, and home remedies to hide or cover up your acne, you run the risk of running into major health complications down the road. You're effectively assassinating the messenger (acne), which your body sent to warn you that you're doing something wrong.

So you have a sticky problem here. Most people think acne is just a skin condition, and that it doesn't mean anything - you either get it or you don't, and you're just unlucky if you do get it. I used to think this myself, until I started reading about the real causes of acne.

Inflammation, insulin resistance, glycation. What causes these things? A number of things, but most importantly, DIET. Eat the wrong foods, and you start ageing your body prematurely, eating away your vital youth. Your skin loses its elasticity; your blood sugar stays high all the time, damaging all the cells in your body; inflammation rampages around your body, lighting fires under everything and pouring on gasoline.

These are the reasons you have acne.

Thank your lucky stars that you got the warning.

Now listen to the warning, and clear up your acne. By removing a few key food groups, you can do that. It won't be easy, but it works. And if you suffer from acne, you know how much it sucks. I would have done anything to get rid of mine, and I hope you will too.

Devin helps people cure acne naturally, and achieve clear skin once and for all. He's a Stanford-educated health entrepreneur, and after a successful battle with acne, he wants to help as many people as possible cure this awful condition.

Is There A Perfect Acne Treatment?

People are always asking me if there is a perfect acne treatment. To be honest, there isn't anything perfect in this life (except, maybe, God). But what I can tell you are methods and certain precautions that you can take to make sure that you won't have a massive acne problem.

I'm sure that you are aware that acne is a very annoying skin disorder that makes the lives of thousands of people a living hell. Acne breakouts are a real problem, because pimples not only appear on the surface of the skin, but also on the inner layers. Usually, acne can be found on the back, buttocks, chest, face and neck.

In the past few years, a lot of experts and dermatologist have suggested a few tips that can help to prevent acne. Here are some that I found to be good (I knew about them, even before I've read the articles of the professionals).

Tip 1: Leave Your Skin Alone

This is a very crucial detail in the fight against acne. If you see a pimple on your body, do not squeeze or pinch it, because it can leave permanent acne scars. Since our hands are not always very clean - when touching our skin - we spread the acne bacteria ourselves.

Tip 2: Take Care Of Your Skin

If you are suffering from pimples, then you must have done some research on how to get rid of it. I'm sure you came across this very important rule: personal hygiene is important for success! But there is one thing you need to remember - you should gently clean your skin at least 3 times a day. This easy, but at the same time important, step will set the right foundation in your fight against acne.

Also, please make sure that you do not scrub your face, because it will only lead to scarring.

Tip 3: Beauty Kills?

This is for all you ladies out there (or metrosexual boys): be careful when choosing your cosmetics. Dermatologists have revealed that often their patients suffer from severe acne rashes because of their make-up. But don't worry; there is only one thing you will need to remember: make sure that your eye shadows, blushes, moisturizers are oil free. Also, get rid of all oily hair products.

Thank you for taking your time to read this article! It's not easy to win against acne, but if you take action - you will succeed!

Good luck!

Important Facts About Cystic Acne

What is this form of acne?

There is a variant of acne vulgaris that is called cystic acne. It does require specialized care because it has enough differences from acne vulgaris thus allowing it to be considered a form of acne that is independent from others. It has far more severity than acne vulgaris, and even though it is less likely to occur than acne vulgaris it is a variant that occurs quite often. Acne vulgaris is a variant that occurs in the vast majority of people albeit on a small-scale, and such people may not have this regularly afflicting them and may not even be at an adolescent age.

Who are afflicted?

A lot of individuals can suffer from this form of acne. Men are more likely to be affected by this than women will. This is due to the differences in the hormones produced by their bodies. Sebum is a natural oil that is the main cause of acne among humanity. This affects those people who produce more testosterone as compared to estrogen. It is more likely to occur in men than in women. So if a woman does suffer from this acne, it is likely that her body is producing larger amounts of testosterone. Men are at a greater risk of such acne because the amount of sebum levels in their bodies is always high. This causes their pores to be blocked by the sebum and thus increasing their chances of suffering from breakouts of acne vulgaris.

The persons who are most susceptible to this acne are adolescents. During this difficult period of growth, hormone levels in children of either sex are different from their normal levels. These changes in hormones can produce a number of effects that can be deleterious. One of them is the overproduction of sebum and stress. This can lead to definite cases of acne and can even aggravate any acne that exists. Both forms of acne can affect adolescent males who will exhibit these symptoms more than adolescent females will. Young females will show signs of this acne far more than adult females will.

The causes of cystic acne

The excessive production of sebum is the primary cause of this acne. Acne is promoted by this. There are however other reasons that can also cause the hyper-production of sebum.

This over production may not be the sole factor for the acne outbreak. This acne can also occur when the pores get clogged due to other reasons and one factor could be more estrogen being produced than testosterone which causes the condition to be exacerbated. Dead skin is a major factor that comes into play. This is a natural process that allows dead skin to collect during its normal functions which shed the dead skin cells. When estrogen levels are higher than testosterone, such bodies will have drier skin. This in turn means more of dead skin which then collects in the pores. The pores then get clogged giving rise to both acne vulgaris as well as cystic acne.

The effects of this acne

There are a number of symptoms that are associated with this form of acne. Cysts are the primary ones that give rise to the acne itself. Sebum filled blisters that are raised are classified as pimples, but when there is cystic acne these can have pustules filled with pus. These are distended and above these pimples. Acne itself is a blemish that is difficult to contend with and this further expansion has effects that can be quite unfortunate and unpleasant.

Scars can be left behind after the attack of this acne, something that may not be part of the acne vulgaris affliction. This is because deeper tissues of the skin get affected by the cysts, than would get affected by pimples and pustules. This leading to trauma in the skin. It gets further aggravated if such cysts are tampered with or caused to rupture by artificial means. It is better to allow such cysts to rupture on their own as they will do naturally, and this is the best end to a cyst which will then ensure that scarring does not occur.

Infection is one thing that one has to be careful of that can affect physical health when one is afflicted by this acne. Cysts can be quite harmless if allowed to rupture on their own and can at the most cause some scars. However there is a danger that cysts that have ruptured can become open sores that can be affected by secondary infections.
